LGM, Ltd. is known throughout the industry for our low-resistance-high-inductance ignition core made with LGM Ferrite. When you need quality, choose LGM Ferrite Core--it’s the best in the industry. Our premium ignition core is so well known, that sometimes people forget that we are a custom winder. We are glad to wind simple, affordable ignition core, a wide range of custom flexible rope heaters, and even antenna systems wound to your exact specifications.

Wide Range of Core Materials and Wire Alloys

LGM can wind wire from .00175" to .009". Available wire alloys include stainless steel, copper and copper alloys, alloy A, alloy 30, alloy 90 and more. LGM Ferrite Cores are highly inductive with an outside diameter of .040" to .100". We can also wind directly on fiberglass or aramid cores from .030" to .090".

Advanced Winding Capabilities

Our custom made high speed winding machines produce smooth, even, consistent coils of wire. All production is backed up by in-process, departmental and final inspections, check dies, check sheets, machine logs, mistake proofing and more. Our machines run quickly and we have plenty of them. Your order will be carefully packed and shipped on time using your carrier.
