LGM uses our custom built winders to wind wire over textile, Kevlar, and fiberglass carriers. These carriers are impregnated with a ferrite solution specially engineered by LGM to provide you with the highest inductance possible.
The ferrite coated Kevlar and fiberglass core material range in diameter from 0.018" to 0.080". Our unique winders enable LGM to wind non-enameled wire at a rate of 500 turns per inch and to even higher rates when wound with enameled wire (actual TPI depends on the wire diameter). This ability provides you the most quantity of wire per foot of finished product, as well as the highest inductance.
