LGM uses our custom built winders to wind wire onto fiberglass, Klasscore, and textile carriers to manufacture rope heaters, which are also known as heater core. Rope heaters are used in a variety of applications; the majority of which are categorized as either drum heaters or heating elements.
Our rope heaters are typically manufactured utilizing a fiberglass carrier having a diameter of 0.018", which is then wound with a nickel-chromium-iron alloy in a continuous spiral. The final overall diameter of our typical construction is 0.029" +/-. LGM utilizes various wire alloys and sizes in order to process the carrier material. The carrier material is available in diameters ranging from .018" to 0.100".
